A dedicated widebody access stand providing safe access to the Trimmable Horizontal Stabiliser compartment.
The NIJL THS Access Stair is a specialised configuration of the FIX fixed-height access platform range, developed to provide engineers with safe, stable access to the Trimmable Horizontal Stabiliser compartment on widebody aircraft.
A large working platform provides a secure maintenance area, while an integrated extendable ladder allows engineers to reach the THS bay directly from the platform. The arrangement is designed to support aircraft in both wheels-on and jacked maintenance configurations, including gear swing operations.
The stand can be moved manually within the hangar and can also be supplied with a high-speed towable wheel package for efficient repositioning between maintenance areas.
