NIJL Donates to Vereniging Kinderkanker Nederland After Cancelled Charity Run

NIJL is pleased to support Vereniging Kinderkanker Nederland with a donation of €500, reaffirming its commitment to meaningful causes that support children and families facing serious illness.

The donation was originally planned as a sponsorship for the NIJL company team’s participation in the Halve Marathon Zwolle. Unfortunately, due to adverse weather conditions, the event was cancelled. Despite this, NIJL chose to honor its sponsorship pledge and donate the intended amount directly to the charity.

Vereniging Kinderkanker Nederland, founded in 1987, offers vital support to children with cancer and their families. From emotional guidance and peer connections to the well-known KanjerKetting (Bead Chain of Courage), the organization provides a strong community for those navigating the challenges of childhood cancer. Their work also includes educational outreach, family programs, and advocacy for improved pediatric care in the Netherlands.

Though the run could not take place, NIJL is proud to stand behind this impactful organization and help contribute to its mission.
