
NIJL Welcomes Andy Cassidy as New Bid and Transition Engineer

We are pleased to welcome Andy Cassidy to the NIJL team as our new Bid and Transition Engineer, joining the Engineering Department. Andy brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will further strengthen NIJL’s capabilities in delivering innovative access and ground support solutions.
Andy is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) for the past six years. His impressive 15-year career has been dedicated to the design and development of aircraft access and ground support equipment, including the launch of advanced electrical GSE (Ground Support Equipment) products.
In 2019, Andy was appointed Chief Design Engineer, a role in which he led design projects, managed engineering teams, and oversaw the development of complete design packages for both production and customer proposals. His managerial experience spans over a decade, making him a strong asset in overseeing bid and transition processes at NIJL.
Andy shared his enthusiasm about joining the company:
