CH-47 Chinook Wrap-Around Maintenance Platforms.

A complete modular wrap-around maintenance system engineered specifically for inspection and heavy maintenance of the CH-47 Chinook.

01 Overview

The NIJL CH-47 Chinook Modular Platform System provides comprehensive working access around the aircraft through a coordinated arrangement of left- and right-hand maintenance platforms.

The system is divided into dedicated nose, forward fuselage, aft fuselage, engine and tail sections, creating full wrap-around access for inspection and heavy maintenance activities.

A key advantage of the modular design is its flexibility. Each platform section can form part of the complete wrap-around system or be used independently with a mobile fixed-height access stair, allowing the working arrangement to be adapted to the maintenance task.

Removable and plug-in railing sections provide dedicated access points for the mobile stairs, while flexible railing arrangements maintain fall protection and allow clearance around the Chinook rotor blades.

The system is designed to maximise usable working area while keeping the overall footprint efficient. Swivel castors with directional locking allow individual platforms to be repositioned when required, and aircraft-facing rubber protection helps safeguard the helicopter skin during maintenance operations.
