This state-of-the-art equipment marks a significant enhancement to United Airlines’ maintenance capabilities, enabling efficient and safe access to narrow-body aircraft for servicing and repairs.

Tailored Design for Optimal Performance

The NIJL Narrow Body Tail Dock is a versatile, three-piece system designed to provide comprehensive access to narrow-body aircraft. Key features include:

• Access Tower with Three Levels: The vertical access tower ensures seamless entry to various aircraft levels, facilitating maintenance tasks with ease.
• Opening APU Level: This feature allows for targeted access to the APU, streamlining inspections and servicing.
• Two Horizontal Platforms: These platforms are designed for maximum flexibility, ensuring a secure and ergonomic workspace for technicians.
• Two AFT PAX Platforms: For the storage of seats, galleys and interior parts and easy access for the mechanics into the aircraft working

This innovative dock is specifically configured for Boeing B737 NG and MAX variants. Adjustable flooring and handrail systems ensure a precise fit, allowing aircraft to be positioned and removed safely while maintaining a close, profiled alignment when docked.

Seamless Installation and Handover

The on-site installation team are currently completing the assembly and commissioning process at United Airlines’ Houston facility. The final steps, including rigorous testing, training and customer handover, were carried out on time to the customer’s required timeline.
